At the Riverdale Veterinary Group, our mission is to offer the finest veterinary care possible, while being compassionate and understanding of all the patients that come through our door. Veterinary clinics should be staffed only by animal-lovers. At our practice we insist that everyone treats the animals the way they would treat their own pet. We are committed to animal owner education and we hope visitors to our site will consult the pages to find out more about our practice and other available resources.

It takes a special person to be a veterinary assistant. Animal assistants need to be skilled at secure restraint in order to achieve safety, while being gentle so as to always maintain animal comfort. At RVG, our animal assistants are trained to learn how to strike this delicate balance. Please don't hesitate to ask for their help, and to tap into their experience and knowledge at treating animals. Whether it be tips on how to successfully pill your cat or dog (not always easy!), or advice on things like flea, tick, and heart worm prevention, these are the folks to ask. |
The first friendly faces you see when you walk through the front door; these are the people who run our front desk and waiting room at RVG. Responsible for all scheduling and organization, our receptionists are also compassionate individuals who know how devoted owners are to their pets. No concern is trivial and no detail is too small for them to address. |
Whether you need a bowl of water for your pet (or a cup for yourself!), or you would like the channel changed on our waiting room flat-screen TV, just ask ! |
